Chocolate Truffles

INGREDIENTS

2 cups plain sweet biscuits, crushed (Marie, Arrowroot)

1 cup desiccated coconut

2 tbsp cocoa powder

1 x 395 gram can of sweetened condensed milk

Extra coconut for coating

  1. Crush biscuits in food processor or in plastic bag with a rolling pin until small crumbs. 1 packet of biscuits is roughly 2 cups worth.

  2. Place biscuits, the one cup of coconut and the cocoa powder into a bowl and stir until combined.

  3. Add the condensed milk and mix thoroughly until combined.

  4. Take portions of mixture and roll into balls using your hands* and then roll each one in the extra coconut.

  5. Chill until firm.

  6. Enjoy!

Note: *Use wet hands so the mixture doesn’t stick to your hands when rolling.

To make a healthier version you can use low-sugar condensed milk and replace the cocoa powder with 1 tbsp of raw cacao powder.
