AI Statement.

AI is having a huge impact on our lives. In many circumstances the development of AI is making wonderful advancements in science, medicine and many other industries.

An author and creative entrepreneur, I believe it’s an author’s choice how and when to use AI. And I also believe, that there must be transparency so readers have the information upfront in order to choose the books they wish to read.

I do not use generative AI (content generated by artificial intelligence) in my stories. My novels, stories and essays are written by me and edited by either myself or my team of beautiful, intelligent and talented humans. My aim will always be to write and create stories that entertain, inspire, engage and provide an escape for the reader. Created by humans, for humans. I believe that humans matter and that our ability to put our hearts and souls into our stories and creative pursuits will never be matched by any robot or content creation machine. 

I do occasionally use some forms of AI in the brainstorming and outlining phases of the writing process to help me order my ideas and thoughts. But all words in my novels are written by me. I also sometimes use AI tools to assist with the marketing and promotion of my novels and to help streamline the business side of things.

The AI world is developing at light speed, and I am focused on keeping up with the changes that impact the creative fields. I believe that governments need to implement safeguards and regulations for the creative industry that support creatives and those making their living in the industry.
